My Summer Bucket List

This is my summer bucket list.

Hopefully, by the end of this summer, I will have accomplished every single one of these things.  As I complete each item on my list, I'd like to make a blog post about it, sharing what I've learned and experienced.  I may change the list up a bit and add a few things as time goes by, but here's what I've got for now.

Emily's 2012 Summer Bucket List
  1. Read all books in summer reading list
  2. Go to New York
  3. Go on a road trip
  4. Cook one meal a week (for at least one month)
  5. Work out at least three days a week
  6. Learn how to ride a bike
  7. Take a blogging hiatus for a month
  8. Cut someone's hair
  9. Record at least three songs for my YouTube channel
  10. Read textbooks for next semester's classes
  11. Make crafts for my future house
  12. Write a song
  13. Make homemade ice cream
  14. Have a paint or shaving cream fight
  15. See at least three movies in theaters
  16. Learn to play five songs on the ukulele
  17. Attend Impact Retreat
  18. Wash my hair in olive oil and honey mixture
  19. Get a mani/pedi
  20. Play a prank
  21. Learn to tie a knot in a cherry stem with my tongue
  22. Learn to frat snap
  23. Go camping
  24. Pray over a stranger
  25. Write a letter every day for a month (still considering this one)
  26. Make "fairies in a jar"
  27. Purchase polaroid camera 
  28. Wear every shirt in my closet at least once or get rid of it 
  29. Make a new friend
  30. Paint a dish for my house next semester
  31. Have a blog giveaway
  32. Become a decent ping pong player
  33. Have a photoshoot

  1. WHAT GO CAMPING!!!! Good because I wanted to go camping this summer too, so I will make sure and just drag you with me! :) and can't wait to cook with you :) and do all the other stuff! yay!! (wash hair in honey?? hu??)

    1. Haha, I've been convinced to try camping one time. ;) JUST ONE TIME!

      I won't ONLY wash my hair in honey. It's a homemade mixture that's supposed to make your hair super healthy and shiny. We'll see. :)

      AHHH only two more days and you'll be home and we can begin our bucket list!!

  2. You can't ride a bike?! I'm glad you're going to learn then; it's really fun. :) It's my main form of exercise when I do exercise, which is not very often unfortunately.

    I'm not so sure about washing hair with honey though...

    1. Some childhood skills I never learned... like whistling or riding a bike. I'm not sure why not! But I have to learn by next semester because I will need to ride a bike.
