The first Sunday of the month, I advocate for an orphan with special
needs who is waiting for a family. Please consider supporting this
child by committing to pray for them, sharing their story, or donating
to their adoption fund through Reece's Rainbow.
Kristopher is waiting.
No child should have to live in an orphanage and Kristopher would absolutely blossom under the care of a family who will love him and call him their own.
Kristopher is seven years old and is quite delayed. He looks significantly younger than he actually is. He is HIV+, has a heart defect, is blind in one eye, and he has moderate mental delay. A diagnosis of HIV often carries a negative stigma, but with proper care, the virus will likely not impact Kristopher's lifespan and cannot compare with his precious personality. Kristopher shines with happiness. He is described as "always happy."
A family who met him in late 2012 described him as, "Kristopher is a super-sweet boy who... is happy all the time. He is darling!"
Kristopher will always have mental and physical delays that will affect his life, but he has potential to grow within the love of a family unit. He needs parents who are willing to take the time to care for him and receive so much joy from his happy countenance.
Kristopher's heart condition is serious and he needs surgery before it is too late. Will you help him find his family?
