Right now, over-sized cardigans are in.  I have one myself.  These are lightweight, long-sleeved sweater/jackets.  They usually come in basic, solid colors such as beige, white, and black, although you can find them in just about every color and also in light patterns and stripes.  The good thing about these cardigan sweaters is the fact that they cover up a lot, and you can wear them over spaghetti straps and sleeveless shirts.

Another good thing about the cardigans is that they are lightweight, but they are warm enough to get you through the cool (and slowly warming) spring weather.  In other words, you can keep warm, but you aren't going to be suffocating in a wool jacket. 

You can even find stylish cardigans for guys, although they should be less over-sized than the girls'.

I don't know how long I'll be doing this, but for the next few weeks, on Wednesdays and Fridays, I am going to be featuring a cute, but modest fashion trend for the upcoming spring and summer, 2010. 

It can be so hard to give into the temptation of dressing in short, skimpy, and immodest clothes during the summer, but as Christians (especially young girls), we need to put ourselves above the temptations and dress differently from the world.
