I make very little sense today.

I have not been posting very often at all... and I'm very sorry.

My excuse is the insanity of my schedule right now.  Some days, I don't get back to my dorm until after midnight.  Busy, busy, busy!  I'll share with you a big reason why... tomorrow.

However, today is a fairly carefree day, at least until tonight, so I will try to write a few things in advance.  (Today's post will also be sporadic and jumbled because that's how my thoughts are flowing right now).

And yet somehow...

Although my "real" blog posts have been few and far between, my blog's views have been shooting up lately.  I am so thankful for the magnitude of support I am receiving through my blog right now.

I am so encouraged by all of you.

More than 80,000 views in less than fifty days.  That's amazing!  I am so touched that people are interested whatsoever in the things I have to say.  If I could hug you all, I would.

Seriously.  I really would give you a hug.  Right now.

Good News!

My mom and grandparents are coming down to visit.  It's a ten hour drive from my hometown to my college home, so they will arrive tomorrow morning.  I'm so excited!  I haven't seen any of my family in over a month.

Little Life Lessons.

I feel like every couple of weeks, the Lord highlights a new word or phrase in my life.  A few weeks ago, it was "conversation" and it's also recently been "faithfulness."  I often write about what I'm learning in my blog, so I'm sure you can sometimes see trends about what He has been showing me.

These last couple of weeks, the Lord has been emphasizing "encouragement."

I don't see myself as having low self esteem (at least not about my physical appearance), but I do tend to have self-doubt.  Although I realize that everyone messes up, when I do, I beat myself up about it to no end.  And when great opportunities come my way, I often tell myself incessantly, "You're not good enough.  You'll mess it up, like always."  And those kinds of thoughts are certainly not of God.

These last two weeks have been filled to the brim with encouragement.  I feel like the Lord has been showering me with His unconditional love and showing me that although I do and I will mess up, His love is limitless and more powerful than any mistake I'll ever make.

And because He loves me, I'm worth it.

So thanks.

Thanks for continuing to read my blog, even when my posts are as unorganized as this one and as few and far between as they have been.

Thanks for being my friend.
